Human Trafficking Summit Explores Darker side…
On August 1, 2011, Georgia State University hosted 463 law enforcement agents, Government health and social service representatives, prosecutors, community activists, members of the press, concerned citizens, and others who’d gathered to discuss the problem of human trafficking in Atlanta and ways to solving it. The largest gathering of its kind, the daylong meeting included panelists, guest speakers, and representatives from a number of organizations around the Atlanta area committing to ending trafficking.
