“ Dear V-Day,

We are proud to join the stand for the appreciation of women around the
world.  Today, there is a hideous economy that degrades women and children
by selling their bodies for sex so that other people can profit from their
abuse.  Innocence Atlanta and its parent non-profit Meet Justice have been
fighting against human trafficking for over 5 years.  Our vision is to be a
voice for the voiceless and change our world one story at a time.

The Atlanta, GA campus of the Savannah College of Art and Design partnered
with us this year to raise over $1000 through benefit performances of *The
Vagina Monologues.  *The money they raised will be immediately put to use in
furthering awareness of violence against women through a new website.  By
recruiting volunteer writers, graphic designers, and web developmenters, we
will apply the money directly to the launch cost of a new, interactive
website.  We hope this site will give women a place to share their stories
and hear the stories of other women, those who have survived and those who
remain trapped in trafficking.  Providing a place for people to engage their
individual passions and their community resources will bring us one step
closer to taking Atlanta off the list of top 10 cities in America plagued by
human trafficking.

We are grateful to SCAD Atlanta’s troop of directors, managers, and
actresses who produced a fantastic showing of *The Vagina Monologues, *and
we continue to wish success to all individuals and organizations who stand
for the value and appreciation of women. “

Best regards,
