In Woodstock, two people were arrested by Woodstock police for crimes involving children.

The first, Randy Coffin, 43, was charged him with statutory rape, child molestation, and enticing a child for indecent purposes when arrested on Wednesday. He is accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old, his fiance’s younger sister.
He es now in custody at the Cherokee County Adult Detention Center in Canton.  read more »

This past Thursday, December 4, 2008, in Alpharetta, Ga, Alpharetta Fire Department captain Tristen Cruz was arrested on child porn charges. The Georgia Bureau of Investigation officials said they found numerous child porn images on his computer, and he was charged with six counts of child sex exploitation

Cruz was not fired, but placed on administrative leave from his job as the city's fire services captain, where he has been serving for seven years.

Wellspring Water For Girls is opening their first rehabilitative cottage home for girls rescued from child sex trafficking and they need YOUR help to get the home ready.

They are holding workshops on Saturdays throughout September through the second weekend of October.

If you want to volunteer to paint, clean, or do yard work, please bring your paintbrush/roller, cleaning supplies, and or rake and a shovel for landscaping.
